- Our intention is to provide you / your child with a valuable product or service. We are real life humans (and a mythical Superhero character), and are far from perfect! Please forgive any mistakes we make, and treat us with respect.
- We welcome constructive feedback!
- We reserve the right to refuse our service for any reason (and will refund your money in these instances). We may do this, for example, if we:
- feel your values are not in line with our values;
- aren’t sure that we can respond to your child’s circumstances in a value-adding way; or
- don’t have operational capacity.
- We expect to be fairly financially compensated for the products and services we provide. If you would like to copy our work, please ask our permission first.
- We retain copyright of our letters and emails, and reserve the right to re-use the contents of any letter or email we send out to your child. We also reserve the right to publish any letters we send to your child in our marketing material (with your child’s name and location changed or blacked out).
- We are not registered psychologists or mental health professionals. We are supporting a wise and loving Superhero, who gleans information from personal development books, parenting programs, personal experience, the Official Handbook for Mythical Characters and various memes from Instagram.
- There is no guarantee that the advice in our letters will help a child heal from a trauma, or even change their thoughts or behaviour. Letters from Hairy Thought-Buster not a substitute for psychological advice. Please seek professional assistance for your child / family if necessary.
- Any information you submit to us will be kept confidential by team Hairy Thought-Buster, except where we are required to disclose it by law.
- If we deem a child to be at risk, we reserve the right to inform relevant authorities.
- If a letter does not reach you because you’ve provided us with an incorrect address, we may charge additional fees to process and resend you the letter.
